For the first time, WPS held a competition evening with remote participation and judging.
Nearly 100 members attended an online meeting.
Projectionist Steven Cooper showed exactly the same images as he would have shown if the meeting had been at the Discovery Centre.
The difference was that, using the GoToMeeting conferencing software, the judge and members were able to view the proceedings remotely.
