Best of the Best 2022
Tuesday 31 May, 2022. 7:30pm in the Arc, Winchester
For this end-of-season special event, the top two images from each of the five rounds in the Print and PDI Leagues go head to head. Entries from all four classes (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and Gold) compete against each other to decide the season’s “Best of the Best”.
That should give 40 images in each section, but for Print Round 3 there were so few entries in the Beginners’ Class that only a First Place had been awarded. Some members were not able to deliver their prints on the night. Only 34 print images were available for judging.
Judge – Judge Jon Mitchell
Jon Mitchell has been a member and committee member of Gosport Camera Club for many years and is a senior (Level 3) judge on the SCPF circuit.
He has judged our Club competitions several times before, most recently 2020-21 PDI Round 2. We look forward to welcoming him again.

HB – Held Back
N – Not held back
O – omitted and not judged because
- the print was not available on the night or
- in the PDI section, Maurice Jones’s The Bay, winner of PDI Round 4 (Intermediate) was unfortunately omitted from the images shown for judging due to a mix-up over titles. We are very sorry for this mistake.
