WPS James Burns – London From The Rooftops
25 Jan 2022 – James Burns
James’ fascination with London cityscapes developed in the late 1990s.
What started with an exploration of the architecture ofsocial housing high rises evolved into a fascination with the views over London from the tops of tall buildings and Central London’s office blocks.
Thanks to the contacts he has built up, he is able to exploit high-up viewpoints which are not generally accessible to photographers.
London From The Rooftops
James’ London From The Rooftops project has been going since about 2006.
It came to prominence in August 2012 with the launch of an exhibition at theprintspace gallery in Shoreditch.
