Have you missed a training session, or are Sundays not convenient for you? We are recording the training sessions, and, for a small charge, WPS members can sign up to watch the class(es) that they missed.
About the training programme
WPS runs a wide range of classroom training events with qualified tutors.
These courses for our members are great value because they are subsidised by the Society.
Topics range from camera settings for beginners, to the inner details of Lightroom.

When and where
In normal times, classes are held at the Otterbourne meeting rooms (Williams Garage).
Because of Covid-19, training courses will be online until further notice.
All classes are on Sundays; 10.30am-1pm and/or 1:30pm to 4pm.
WPS Training Oct-Dec 2020 classes are all planned to be offered on GoToMeeting.
A four-for-three special offer is in place for classes before 16th November.
To sign up for a course, please follow these steps:
- Choose the course(s) you’d like to attend
- Make the bookings
- You can pay for each class separately by buying tickets on Eventbrite, however we prefer that you pay as follows
- Decide how you want to pay (BACS, Paypal or cheque) and then make payment
- Tell us the money is on its way using the “Confirm Payment” tab.
We need to keep track of who’s booked and who’s paid so we can send out the joining instructions.

Recordings of training sessions are being made available to WPS members for £20 for all of the first eight classes (to 15th November).
The recordings are in MP4 (video) format, and class notes are usually included.
Book on Eventbrite to receive links to recordings as they become available.
Note that recordings for every session are not guaranteed due to possible technical problems.
Recordings or class notes, or links to them may not be shared with others
After signing up, you will receive links to the recordings as they become available. You will also receive links to the tutor’s notes (if available).
