2023 Annual Exhibition Opening : Winchester Photographic Society

The Exhibition is open!!

Dear member,

One of our highlights of the year, our annual exhibition, is now open at the Arc.

Thanks to all who entered, the helpers who framed the works, and the wonderful team at Hampshire Cultural Trust.

Trevor and I were able to curate the exhibition on Thursday, with the HCT team hanging it all over Thursday and Friday – it looks fantastic and really does us proud.

Our WPS members’ Private View evening is this coming Tuesday, 28^th May. Do come along from 7pm to enjoy the work on display, and take a look at the National Gallery touring exhibition “Sin” (free of charge to us on that evening.) The Winchester Mayor will be there too, as our guest.

There will be ample opportunity to view the exhibitions and to socialise with fellow WPS members – the bar will be open!

At about 8:15 we’ll move through to our usual performance space for presentation of the trophies – freshly engraved for this year’s winners.

There will also be a chance to hear more of what will be happening in our forthcoming Centenary Season.
