Winchester National Exhibition 2020 Cancellation

Winchester National Exhibition 2020 Cancellation Announcement

It is with considerable regret that we have taken the decision to cancel the 2020 Winchester National Exhibition.

Guidance from the Prime Minister gives us little hope of running the judging face to face in early July as our schedule dictates.

Additionally, we have been testing the evolving remote judging application being written by our exhibition software developer since social distancing was enforced.

Having attempted to run several simulated judging exercises in the past weeks we have always been defeated by compatibility issues between the two programmes.

After another unsuccessful attempt last night we have concluded at this go/no go decision point, that we do not have the confidence that the software will perform as required to judge the reduced entry numbers in the single day agreed with our judges.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused and be assured that it is our intention to run the WNE in 2021 once life in the UK returns to a post Covid 19 normality.

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing your images next year.
