Winchester Photographic Society’s 84th Annual Print Exhibition 2017
Terms and Conditions for the WPS 2017 Print Exhibition
|Entrants must be fully paid up members of Winchester Photographic Society
|Cost of Entry
|Cost of entry is £2.00 per image except for Class B which is £2.00 per set.
|Number of entries
|30 images maximum. No more than 4 images per Class except in Class B where only one set may be entered with each set counting as 1 image towards the total number of images.
|An image must not have been accepted in a previous Winchester Photographic Society exhibition.
|Entrants must own the copyright of all elements of their images and may be asked to provide suitable evidence – failure to do so may result in disqualification.
|No entry shall be eligible for more than one Class.
|Monochrome is defined as paper base plus one colour.
|Class A Beginners
|Entrants must be on the current Beginners list as held by the Competitions Secretary.
|Class B Set of 3
|A panel of 3 images, each in their own mount, with a cohesive theme.
|Class C Free Subject
|The title says it all.
|Class D Taken in Hampshire
|Entries must be taken indoors or outdoors in Hampshire, but not in a studio or in your home.
|Class E Human Portrait
|The human content should comprise the significant majority of the image.
|Class F Nature
|Entries must conform to the FIAP definition given here. Definitions of Nature and Wildlife on the FIAP website
|Class G Street
|Entries should be an image of life within a public space captured at a decisive or poignant moment.
|Class H Action
|Entries should capture the feeling and notion of movement.
Class I Straight out of the Camera
|Class K Creative
|All entrants will receive a catalogue of the exhibition.
|Care of entries
|Every care will be taken of the entries but no responsibility can be taken for damage or loss.
|The submission of entries will be taken as acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
