The Mono Competition
This is a competition for monochrome prints.
Often termed ‘black and white’, monochrome can be any one colour plus white.
For prints, this means an image produced using a single colour of ink/dye/toner and the colour of your base printing paper (normally, but not necessarily, white or near-white).
One round of the print league is designated as the monochrome competition.
After assessing each class and awarding places as for any other round, the judge will select an overall winner, irrespective of class.
The winner is awarded the FB Heathcote-Wride Old Symmetrical trophy.
