At the end of the season a trophy is awarded to the winner of each league.

If a tie occurs, the trophy is awarded to the person with the greatest number of first, then second, then third places and finally Highly Commended.
If there is still a tie, the trophy will be shared.
Distinctions: Many congratulations to members who achieve new distinctions. Please update your profiles in WebCollect and PhotoEntry, and tell the Competition Secretary.

About Ashley Francis
A geophysicist and geostatistician by training, Ashley has over 30 years world-wide oil industry experience of exploration, development and production geophysics. He has lectured at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, at the University of Reading and at Imperial College.
Ashley is a member of Fordingbridge Camera Club and its treasurer (as at the date of this post).
Having joined the SCPF panel of judges in December 2018, he was upgraded to an SCPF Level 2 judge in February 2020.
Ashley gained his CPAGB in 2019 and is also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society..
Ashley was the judge for our first online competition after lockdown was imposed: PDI League Round 4 on 31 March 2020

About Tony
Tony is a welcome and frequent visitor to WPS, well-known as a speaker, an SCPF Level 3 senior judge and member of the SCPF Judging Advisory Team.
He has been judging since 2011.
Recent visits have included
- 2021/22 Print League Round 3 – Mono
- SCPF PDI League Round 5 on 23 February 2021
- 2019/20 Print League Round 2 – 14 Jan 2020
- as a judge for the 2019 Winchester National Exhibition
- and, on 4 February 2020, speaking about his trip to India.
Tony has been a member of Salisbury Photography Club (formerly Salisbury Camera Club) since 2004, which he joined on retirement from the Fire Service.
Tony describes his photography as:
very eclectic as you will see from my four galleries. I enjoy all genres and subjects but will always admit that landscapes are my first passion.

In January 2020 Tony was presented with the SCPF Roll of Honour in recognition of his many years of dedication to Salisbury Camera Club, including a number of initiatives to help support newer and developing photographers, his work as a busy judge throughout the Federation and his years on the SCPF Council including a term as President.

About Jason Hyde
Jason is the webmaster for SCPF and a member of Cricklade Camera Club
He qualified as an SCPF judge in December 2018, was upgraded to a Level 2 judge in February 2020 and is now a Level 3 judge.
His photographic interests include Macro, Astrophotography, Nature and Portraits.

About Jim
Following a short spell in the Royal Navy, seven years at Standard Life, and five years at Stonehenge Cycles (a passionate cyclist), Jim decided on a career change to follow his love of photography.
In 1998, Jim graduated from Salisbury College – acknowledged as one of the leading photography colleges in the UK – with an HND and a BA(Hons) in Professional Communication(Photography).
Jim is a long-standing member of and a former chairman and vice-chairman of Highcliffe & Infinity Photography Club.
With his wife Nicky, also an experienced photographer, he has been running Jim Pascoe Photography since 1998.
He is a frequent and welcome visitor to WPS, and an experienced SCPF Level 3 judge.
Recent visits include judging 2021-22 Print Round 4, and the Competition Night on 19 January 2021 which included the Set of Three and the George Walsh Trophy awards. He was one of the judges for our 2024 Annual Exhibition.
He was also our guest speaker on 13 April 2021, when we were meeting online because of the pandemic.

Judge: Maria Leekblade LRPS AFIAP DPAGB
About Maria
Maria Leekblade is a Level 3 SCPF judge.
She developed her photography skills as an adult learner at Brockenhurst College and by being an active member of Lymington and Southampton Camera Clubs. She also found time to be an active member of Winchester Photographic Society for several years.
In 202-21 we welcomed Maria as our judge for PDI Round 1. She returned in 2021-22 as judge for PDI Round 2 and in 2023 she judged PDI Round 4. She was one of the judges for our 2024 Annual Exhibition.
She was on the committee of Southampton International Exhibition for 8 years.
According to her profile on eventbrite,
Maria has lived in the New Forest for nearly 20 years and her love of photography started with her animals.
However, Maria’s heart lies at home – her animals are always a firm favourite and the local landscape, people, flora & fauna that share our stunning Forest will always be her first love, and being able to capture them remains the motivation and pleasure for picking up the camera.
